A sumptuous cake easy to make but hard to resist.

Ingredients
115 g butter, softened
200 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
100 g packed light brown sugar
100 g caster sugar
3 large eggs
60 g sour cream
4 plums
Step by step
Put the butter and sugars in the bowl of the stand mixer. Attach the Flat Beater and mix on speed 4 until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and mix again on speed 4 for 30 seconds.
Add flour, salt and baking powder. Turn the Speed Control Lever to 4 and mix for 30 seconds.
Add sour cream and mix again on speed 2 until combined.
Line a baking tin with parchment paper. Pour the batter in the tin.
Cut the plums in half and remove the stones. Slice the plums and arrange the plum slices on the batter in a spiral pattern.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden in a 175ºC preheated oven.
Dust with confectioners sugar once cooled.
