Ingredients

250 g flour

1/2 tsp salt

60 ml neutral oil

140 g warm water

80 g fresh goat cheese

150 g sour cream

4 figs

210 g matured goat cheese log

6 slices prosciutto

1 tsp fresh thyme

2 tbsp cream of balsamic

Step by step

  1. Place the flour and salt in a bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the Paddle Attachment. Start mixing on speed 2. Add oil and warm water and mix until a dough forms.

  2. Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll them out on a lightly floured surface. Fold the edges of the dough to create a border.

  3. Mix the fresh goat cheese and sour cream in a small bowl. Spread it on both flatbreads. Slice the figs and the goat cheese roll. Top the flatbreads with fig slices and goat cheese slices.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes in a 220°C preheated oven. Turn the oven to the Grill (Broil) stand and broil for 5 more minutes.

  5. Finish off with prosciutto, fresh thyme and a cream of balsamic.
