1 l water

30-40 edible flowers

Step by step

  1. Pour the water into the KitchenAid Kettle.Turn on the kettle and set it to 100°C. Allow the water to come to a boil, then let the water cool off to room temperature. This will ensure that the water is safe for freezing and won't wilt the edible flowers.

  2. Carefully place the edible flowers into the ice cube trays. Distribute them evenly across the compartments. For best result, use ice cube tray with large squares. Slowly pour the pre-boiled water into the ice cube tray, covering the flowers.

  3. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer and let it freeze for a minimum of 6 hours or until completely solid. When ready to be used, remove the ice cubes from the ice cube tray. Serve the flower ice cubes in mocktails, cocktails, or any other chilled drink.
