20 ml milk
1 shot espresso
to taste (optional) cocoa powder
Step by step
Froth the milk into a "microfoam" that is nearly double the volume of the original milk, using the steam wand or the milk frother attachment.
Prepare the shot of Espresso in your favorite cup.
Top the espresso with a dollop of frothed milk.
Add a sprinkle of cocoa according to taste and serve. Tip: For a dairy free option, use oat milk.
For a Honey Lavender Macchiato, mix lavender syrup and a bit of honey into the espresso shot before adding frothed milk.
