Can I use ground coffee?
Yes. It's possible to use espresso-grade ground coffee as an alternative to coffee beans.
Open the lid on top, next to the bean hopper, and add only one scoop of ground coffee into the shaft. The powder goes directly to the brewing unit and will not be visible. Do not add more than one scoop. Follow the brewing process as usual, making one shot at a time.
