If the steam function LED and shots quantity are blinking, your espresso machine has overheated.

There are a few causes which you can solve as follows:

Cause Solution
Steam function has worked continuously for 5 minutes. Let the machine cool down for 10 minutes and return to the coffee default mode ie. low temperature and 1 shot. (The system can switch to the "coffee" or "hot water" mode during the heat alarm process).
The machine was restarted after being unplugged and the cooling time has not yet been reached. The cooling time remembers the time when the power was cut off. Allow it to cool fully so that after completing its alarm time, it will return to the coffee default mode (low temperature and 1 shot).
